PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a commutator motor M and other items built in a roller A with built-in motor from being burnt due to heating in the roller A even if a motor protection device B is installed in the roller A, obviate burdensome operations of wiring the roller with built-in motor and the motor protection device which operations are required in conventional cases where an external connection-type motor protection device is used, shorten the installation time therefor, eliminate erroneous wiring, make unnecessary a space for installing the motor protection device, and effectively avoid burning of the commutator motor M and the other items built in the roller due to heating in the roller. SOLUTION: A positive temperature coefficient thermistor 1 and a fixed resistor 2 connected in parallel are series connected to the commutator motor M to form the motor protection device B. The motor protection device B is installed in the roller A with built-in motor that incorporates the commutator motor M. A heat sink 8 is installed on the fixed resistor 2 and part of the heat sink 8 is brought into contact with the component members of the roller A with built-in motor. |
