PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for polarizing a piezoelectric ceramics plate in which a constant polarization in width direction is provided even for a wide piezoelectric ceramics plate for stable piezoelectric characteristics. SOLUTION: The polarizing method of a piezoelectric ceramics plate 1 is provided where a pair of polarizing terminals 6 and 7 comprising gaps 4 and 5 are arranged on both surfaces of the piezoelectric ceramics plate 1, respectively. A voltage is applied between a pair of polarizing terminals 6 and 7 for polarization in width direction of the piezoelectric ceramics plate 1.
