PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method capable of operating an agent flexibly in accordance with an execution environment in each execution environment range relative to each of plural information apparatuses having different execution environments such as a memory resource, a CPU processing capacity or the like, an information processing device using the method, and an agent system. SOLUTION: Plural solutions (plans) comprising one or more processing steps, formed beforehand in order to solve a proposition inputted by a user are stored, and one plan fit for the execution environment of this information processing device is selected from among the plural stored plans, and each processing step in the selected plan is processed in the range of the execution environment, to thereby solve the proposition. If the proposition cannot be solved by one plan selected from among the plural plans, unselected another plan is selected to acquire a soluble plan from among the plans fit for the execution environment.
