PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote maintenance management system that eliminates the need for a user making a phone call to service center and asking the center for its instruction when a fault takes place in an office device and the user restores the fault. SOLUTION: In a remote maintenance management system, a communication controller has a means to connect a ratio communication channel to a central management device, a means that transmits state information of an office device connected to a host computer after the connection of the respective communications, a voice input output means and a means that communicates data and voice when the host computer is connected to the radio communication channel and the public line, and the central management device has a means that connects with the host computer via the public line when receiving a call from the communication controller.
