PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter for satellite communication that reduces a signal loss and simplifies the assembling workability with a simple structure. SOLUTION: Two orthogonally polarized wave signals transmitted from a satellite are branched into two inside a waveguide 1, the horizontally polarized wave travels through a 1st propagation path 1a and the vertically polarized wave travels through a 2nd propagation path 1b, A printed circuit board 4 fitted to a case 2 supports a couple of probes 5, 6 and tips of both the probes 5, 6 are extended to the inside of two waveguide sections 2a, 2b provided to the case 2. Then integrating the waveguide 1 and the case 2 with a fixing means such as screw fastening makes the 1st propagation path 1a conductive with the 1st waveguide section 2a and makes the 2nd propagation path 1b conductive with the 2nd waveguide section 2b.
