PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carrier or a container in which measurement sensitivity of separation analysis can be enhanced or recovery rate in separation refinement can be enhanced by preventing or reducing nonspecific adsorption of a target component or a labeled substance in separation analysis and/or separation refinement. SOLUTION: The method for producing a carrier or a container where nonspecific adsorption is reduced by adsorbing a protein to the carrier or container comprises a step for irradiating the carrier or container with a microwave under a state immersed into a protein solution.
