PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver and recorder which accurately records the regular compilation of the program of broadcasting. SOLUTION: Program identification information consists of a program ID for identifying a program on air, and a content division for showing whether the content on air is a regular compilation or a CM. The identification information is added to a program loop of PMT which is transmitted in 100-millisecond cycles together with an image and sound in digital broadcasting. The digital broadcasting receiving recorder receives digital broadcasting, and abstracts the program ID and the content division from the program identification information which the PMT (step S503), and starts the recording of program (S504-S508) in case that the content division is a regular compilation besides being the case that the program ID obtained from PMT conforms to the program ID pertaining to the program reserved for recording by user. If the content division is a CM, it stops the recording once, and when the program ID obtained by PMT changes into other one, it stops the recording (steps S510 and S513). |
