PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection increased silver film which will not peel from a silver or silver alloy film, even if SiN film is used so as to improve color tone and to provide a translucent reflective or reflective liquid crystal display, using the reflection increased film of silver. SOLUTION: A matte layer 32 is formed on the light transmissive substrate 31 of one substrate 5, constituting a liquid crystal display 2 and a silver alloy film 33 as a translucent reflecting metal film is formed on the matt layer 32. An SiN film 34 is formed on the silver alloy film 33, and an SiO2 film 35 is formed on the SiN film 34. An ITO(indium tin oxide) film 36 for the electrodeposition of a color filter is further formed on the SiO2 film 35. Since the SiO2 film is formed between the SiN film 34 and the ITO film 36, peelings caused on the interface between the silver alloy film 33 and the SiN film 34 due to stresses produced by heat, etc., in the production process can be prevented. |
