<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow future program guide information to be accessed more rapidly by considering the drawback of the conventional program guide where a viewer consumes much time for accessing the program detail information for several days in advance. SOLUTION: This device displays program guide information in a grid for indicating channel and time axes, and is positioned at a place where each program shows a broadcasting channel and corresponding broadcasting time in the grid. This method allows the program guide information to be quickly accessed at new desired broadcasting time, and includes a process for indicating the program guide information, a process indicating at least one time selection field, a process for emphasizing and displaying at least one time selection field by a cursor, a process for activating at least one time selection field after the emphasized display process, a process for judging a time index corresponding to the activation process, a process for calculating new broadcasting time for displaying based on the time index, and a process for displaying the grogram guide information at the new broadcasting time.</p> |
