PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure colors in a short time using colorimetry for measuring colors corrected for the influence of a fluorescent whitening agent contained in paper. SOLUTION: The influence of the fluorescent whitening agent is measured for only the white part of paper. Each of color patches constituting a color chart is corrected only by the amount of correction weighted with a reference amount of correction used in the correction for the influence of the white part.
