PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary electric machine having a magnet embedding structure which assures small size and high motor characteristic and high practical applicability. SOLUTION: An extending part 14a projected toward the external side from an end face of a core is provided to a permanent magnet 14, and magnetism centralizing yokes 15, 15 to be in contact with the core 13 side are closely provided to the surfaces to be held in both sides of the permanent magnet 14. As a result, a magnetic flux generating area is expanded only at the extending part 14a of the permanent magnet 14, effective magnetic flux toward the core 13d side through the magnetism centralizing yokes 15 from the permanent magnet 14 can be increased, and a magnetic resistance between both side cores 13, 13 holding the permanent magnet 14 can be increased through an extending part 14a of the permanent magnet 14 in order to reduce leakage magnetic flux.
