PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a memory for adjusting delay needs to be newly added even when a primary color signal that is subjected to regular reflection is inverted and at the same time all signals including the primary color signal that is not subjected to regular reflection are subjected to image processing as an input signal before outputting. SOLUTION: A reference pulse corresponding to a line where a primary color signal that is subjected to regular reflection at the start line of an effective signal from an image pickup element and a non-inverted primary color signal do not match is created, and a corrected signal after passing a second memory 2 for delay for correcting the defect of a normal pixel is passed through an inversion memory only for the reference pulse period for switching to a signal before pixel defect correction, thus creating the effective line of the primary color signal that is subjected to regular reflection corresponding to all effective lines of the primary color signal without requiring any inversion memories, and hence outputting and displaying all effective lines from the image pickup element.
