PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable electromagnetic wave shield for a front opening of a subrack device. SOLUTION: A plurality of plug-in units 70 are inserted/mounted side by side in a subrack 51, and front panels 73 of the plug-in units 70 block a front opening 57 of the subrack 51. A conductive hitting member 82 which is rotated by operating an insert/pull-out lever 74U is provided on the rear surface side of the front panel 73 of the plug-in unit 70. When the plug-in unit 70 is inserted into the subrack 51 and mounted by operating the insert/pull-out lever 74U, the hitting member 82 is so rotated as to approach the rear surface of the front panel 73 over the front panel 73 of the adjoining plug-in unit 70, and the rear surface of the front panel 73 is brought into contact with the member 82 through shield baskets 80 and 81 to block a gap 110 between adjoining front panels 73.
