PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor which relaxes a step which is industrially simple to a certain extent, which prevents voids and a nonlaminated part due to the step between an inner packaging sheet and an outer packaging sheet, and whose reliability and yield are enhanced. SOLUTION: An inside area 10, in which inner packaging sheets 12 containing internal electrodes 11 are laminated, is formed. Outside areas 20, in which outer packaging sheets 21 which do not contain any internal electrodes on both sides of it are laminated, are formed. Ceramic green sheets in the respective areas are laminated, pressurized and fired, an the multilayer ceramic capacitor is manufactured. The sheet density of the outer packaging sheets 21 in the outside areas 20 before being pressurized is set to be smaller than the sheet density of the inner packaging sheets 12 in the inside area 10, before being pressurized.
