PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic system which makes a specimen easily observable, without the need for re-inputting of the information necessary for setting observation conditions, even when mounting of objective lenses to a revolver is changed. SOLUTION: This system has the revolver 23 which has a plurality of mounting sections to be mounted with the objective lenses 22 and a memory means (a non-volatile memory in a controller 12), which is capable of storing the lens information relating to each of the objective lenses more than the number of the mounting sections. The memory means, the lens information and the identification number for identifying the lens information correspondent to each other, fixedly stores the same and changeably stores the correspondence of the position information of the mounting sections, at which the objective lenses are mounted and the identification number.
