PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of reducing the eccentric motions of a shaft by preventing uniformly arranged rolling elements from dislocation. SOLUTION: A retainer 5 is formed and mounted in a bearing, and then subjected to plastic deformation so as to shrink the gap between the pocket 6 and each ball 3, and thereby the rolling elements in uniform arrangement are prevented from dislocation or misalignment.
