PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts of a varistor or a bypass capacitor connected to an NTC thermistor. SOLUTION: A chip-type composite electronic component is provided with a structural part, in which an NTC thermistor chip element 21 displaying the characteristics of an NTC thermistor 6 and varistor chip elements 22 and 23 which have a dielectric constant for displaying the characteristics of a varistor 10 and form the electrostatic capacitance of a bypass capacitor 11, are electrically connected in parallel.
