<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of reconciling an improvement in installing performance and reducion in a cost while securing strength of an engaging part of a lock member for engaging with a steering shaft. SOLUTION: This steering lock device has a casing 2, a key cylinder 5 arranged in the casing 2 so as to be rotatable by a key 22, a rotor 6 composed of a connecting part 7 integrally rotatably connected to the key cylinder 5, a cam part 8, and a connecting part 9 connected to an ignition switch 10 arranged on the opposite side of the key 22 on the key cylinder 5, and a cam driven part 19 arranged on the steering shaft so as to be engageable and disengageable, and engaging with the cam part 8, and has the lock member 14 moved to a releasing position for releasing engagement with the steering shaft from a locking position for engaging with the steering shaft by the cam part 8 when rotating the rotor 6, and a spring 15 for energizing the lock member 14 toward the locking position. The lock member 14 is formed at least in a doubly superposed shape by punching and bending of a plate material.</p> |
