PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet connection device that allows dialup terminals having different communication interfaces to use a communication path in common when the terminals make connection to the same connection destination. SOLUTION: A connection state management section 45 discriminates whether or not a dialup destination designated by a dialup terminal 13 with a public channel I/F or a dialup terminal 12 with a serial channel I/F is already connected. When the dialup destination is already connected, a switch section 44 uses a communication path connected to the dialup destination and conducts packet routing to make communication. When the dialup destination is not connected, after a communication path is dialup-connected to the Internet newly, the switch section 44 uses the communication path connected to the dialup destination and the newly connected communication path and conducts packet routing to make communication.
