PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for spherical slide bearing in which an abrasion-resistant liner is not peeled off from an inner periphery surface of a race by a high heat at the time of forming a vibration-proof member and an operation life is long. SOLUTION: A vibration-proof member 5 is formed between an inner wall surface 4 of a mounting hole 3 of a body 1 and an outer periphery surface 9 of an approximately annular sleeve 8 to manufacture a first assembly. After an abrasion-resistant liner 4 is covered on an inner periphery surface 13 of a race 11 made of metal, a ball 15 is rotatably and slidably engaged with an inner periphery surface 13 of the race 11 to manufacture a second assembly. Thereafter, an outer periphery surface 16 of the race 11 of the second assembly is press-fitted and fixed to an inner periphery surface 10 of the sleeve 8 of the first assembly. A seal 18 is provided at both sides of one end of the body 1 in order to cover an outer periphery part at both end sides of the race 11 of the ball 15, the mounting hole 3 of the body 1, the vibration-proof member 5, the sleeve and both end parts of the race 11.
