PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire type window regulator substantially dispensing with a guide rail for guiding the front and rear end parts of a window glass and not causing rubbing between driving wires. SOLUTION: In this wire type window regulator, vertical parts 45A are formed between front guide pulleys 12 and 23 of an upper bracket 10 and a lower bracket 20 and between rear guide pulleys 15, 24, the driving wires 45 are wound so that a pair of upper and lower parts are simultaneously moved in the same direction, and the glass window 50 is fitted to the paired upper and lower parts of the driving wires.
