PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detects anomalies in a capacitor, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In a power storage system using a capacitor, an anomaly detecting means CMP3, that detects any anomaly in the capacitor C at zero or a low voltage in proximity thereto, is connected in parallel with the capacitor C, and in addition to the detection of the initialization level and the full charge level of the capacitor C, anomaly detection is effectively performed. The anomaly detecting means CMP3 uses a comparator whose threshold is zero or a low voltage in proximity thereto, a comparator for detecting charging in reverse direction, or a third comparator installed in a parallel monitor 1 for detecting full charged capacitor and controlling initialization charging together with the two comparators CMP1 and 2 for full-charged capacitor detection and initialization charging. With the power storage system, high voltage precision is not required for detection, the number of parts to be added to the conventional power storage systems in reduced, and moreover the overall reliability is enhanced, even in a huge power storage system. |
