PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that suppresses a parallel plate mode causing spurious waves with a simple configuration so as to enhance the emission efficiency of the antenna with a low profile and weight reduction as the whole antenna. SOLUTION: The aperture antenna 4 is formed by removing a rectangular or circular conductor from an upper face conductor plate 1 and a tri-plate feeder 2 is provided to a dielectric layer 5 filled between the upper face conductor plate 1 and a lower face ground conductor plate 3. Furthermore, a dielectric layer 6 and a metallic wall 7 formed at the side face of the layer 6 are provided between the lower face ground conductor plate 3 and the tri-plate feeder 2. An electromagnetic field entered to the dielectric layer 6 in a direction opposite to the aperture antenna 4 from the tri-plate feeder 2 is reflected in the lower face ground conductor 3 and the metallic wall 7, reciprocally propagated and the undesired parallel plate mode is suppressed during the reciprocal propagation.
