PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rebuilding of an existing hospital room into single bed rooms that helps prevent the inconvenience of making upper and lower floors unusable by pipe shaft work, and of narrowing a passageway side, and that eliminates the need for concrete chipping work. SOLUTION: A method for rebuilding of an existing multiple bed hospital room partitioned and arranged between a passageway 2 and an external window 5 and having no water equipment to single (single bed hospital) rooms 20, arranges water equipment 23 made up of a washbasin 24 and a toilet 25 beside the external window 5.
