PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily fix a window frame fitting member of a projected arm to a window frame with a sash parallel to the window frame. SOLUTION: In this projected window, support members 14 are fitted to the inner surfaces 12a of an upper frame and lower frame 12 of a window frame 10, and a receiving member 15 is fitted to a vertical frame 13. One longitudinal end part of a window frame fitting member 38 of the projected arm 34 fitted to the outer surfaces of an upper rail and a lower rail 32 of the sash 30 is moved in the oblique direction to come into contact with the support member 14, and rocked in the outside direction of the interior taking its contact part as a fulcrum, a fixing member 45 engaged like a snap with the receiving member 15 is fitted to the other longitudinal end part of the window frame fitting member 38. With the sash 30 parallel to the window frame 10 and with the window frame fitting member 38 inclined, the sash 30 is moved to bring one longitudinal end of the window frame fitting member 38 into contact with the support member 14, and the sash 30 is further moved to rock the window frame fitting member 38 so that the fixing member 45 is engaged with the receiving member 15 to position the window frame fitting member 38 in the in-plane direction, and position the same in the outside direction of the interior so that it can be temporarily fixed not to move.
