PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane marker system easy to maintain and manage by unnecessitating a power source. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a lane marker 810 having plural resonance circuits 105A, 105B, 105C and 105D which are different from each other in resonance frequencies and an on-vehicle machine 809 for transmitting radio waves having frequency components corresponding to the resonance frequencies in order. The radio waves are transmitted from the transmission antenna 103 of the machine 809 and the frequencies of the radio waves are received by the circuits 105A, 105B, 105C and 105D of the marker 810 to detect the presence/absence of the respective resonance circuits, thereby the machine 809 obtains prescribed information.
