PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contamination of a transfer material by preventing accumulation of toner or the like on a guide member to guide the transfer material to a transfer part, and to prevent transfer omission on even the transfer material which has absorbed moisture. SOLUTION: A lower guide member 11 which guides the transfer material to the transfer part consists of an electrically conductive member 11a to which voltage of the same polarity as the charge polarity of the toner to form a toner image is applied, and an insulating member 11b fixed on at least an area at the side of the transportation guide of the transfer material of the surface of the electrically conductive member 11a which can contact the transfer material. The accumulation of the toner on the lower guide member 11 is prevented by forming a protrusion surface 11d having a prescribed height on the insulating member 11b. Thus, the contamination of the transfer material and the transfer omission on even the transfer material which has absorbed moisture can be prevented. |
