PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner which allows a heat exchanger to sufficiently exert its performance, unifying speed distribution of wind that passes through the heat exchanger in a condition where a blower is operated in a high specific speed, and contributes to energy saving, noise reduction and reduction of size. SOLUTION: The indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided with a suction part 101 and a diffuser 106 and constructed such that a heat exchanger 104 is disposed around a blower 103. A vane 105 for recovering hydrostatic pressure is provided at the suction port side of the unit, which is upwind of the heat exchanger 104. |
