PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for synchronous motor exhibiting excellent economy and control stability in which a desired torque can be obtained constantly. SOLUTION: A pulse type rotational position sensor 3 provided in a synchronous motor 1 generates a pulse signal through rotation. At the time of low speed rotation, especially at the time of deceleration, a controller 4 performs conduction control of the switching element in an inverter 2 at the edge timing of the pulse signal. |
