PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-conductor cooling device for vehicle, improved in the cooling effect of the whole of a cooler and excellent in a cooling efficiency even though the size of the cooler is miniaturized. SOLUTION: In the semi-conductor cooling device for vehicle equipped with an electric power converting device in which a semi-conductor element for converting an electric power is cooled by a heat pipe type cooler, heat dissipating fins are constituted so that the heat conductivity of material of heat dissipating fins attached to the tip end part of the heat pipe of the heat pipe type cooler is higher than to that of the same attached to the cooling block side of the heat dissipating fins while the heat dissipating fins attached to the tip end part of the heat pipe is arranged at a part where the running air flow of a vehicle flows whereby the increase of weight is restrained and the cooling efficiency of the whole of cooler is permitted to be increased thereby permitting the dissipation of heat efficiently even though the size of the cooler is miniaturized.
