PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an shock absorber function as a reinforcement with predetermined durability, and to implement weight reduction without impairing mounting property on a vehicle. SOLUTION: A knuckle bracket 2 has: a tubular body portion 2a connected and fixed on an outer circumference on a lower end side of an outer tube 11 constituting a shock absorber body 1; a tubular extending portion 2b extending integrally from an upper end of the tubular body portion 2a and disposed on an outer circumference near an upper end side of the outer tube 11; and a connecting piece portion 2c disposed to be connected integrally with an outer circumference of the tubular body portion 2a so that the connecting piece portion 2c is extended on an outer circumference of the tubular extending portion 2b.
