PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the danger of injuring a human body even if the lower end of the end side of a sliding door collides with the tips of feet which may be present on a floor face while the sliding door is being opened or closed and to reduce impact on the lower end. SOLUTION: A shock-absorbing member made of cushioning material and consisting of a door end wall and a bottom wall and sidewalls extending across these walls is mounted over the lower end corner of the end side of the sliding door.
