PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of switching noises when switching plural A/D converters attaining multi-bit quantizing/encoding. SOLUTION: In an A/D converting device 120 for converting an analog signal to a multi-bit digital signal exceeding the number of quantizing bits in each of plural A/D converters 11 and 13 by using these plural A/D converters, respective digital signals S7 and S9 outputted from these respective plural A/D converters are made into continuous digital signals S22 by switching them by a cross fade switching means 18 in the state of cross fading. Thus, a total dynamic range exceeding the dynamic range of A/D conversion, that each signal A/D converter has, can be provided by the A/D converting device by suppressing noises, which are generated in such switching, without control. |
