PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a long sentence character message using an SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to perform a work effectively and decrease a waiting time by editing long message at once. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a size of data is more than 80 bytes(S20). If the size of data is more than 80 bytes, the data are segmented by 80 bytes and divided as block units(S21). A number is designated in the divided blocks, respectively(S22). A transmission is performed in order of number(S23), and the transmission is confirmed(S24). If all blocks are transmitted, the process is terminated(S25). It is checked whether the received short message is received as a block unit. If received message is received as a block unit, the message is stored in a buffer. The order of number of the received short message is checked. It is checked whether the number is the last order. If the number is the last order, the block is assembled. The short message block is stored, and the receiving process is terminated.
