PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a discharge lamp lighting device to be usable for different types of luminaires. SOLUTION: This discharge lamp lighting device is provided with a DC conversion part A provided in a DC conversion board and converting an AC power supply into a DC and a high frequency conversion part B provided in a high frequency conversion board and converting the DC converted by the DC conversion part A into a high frequency power.
