<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stop plug of a cable protective tube, capable of preventing trapped water from flowing in from the end of a cable protective tube with inserted optical communication cables or the like in manholes or the like. SOLUTION: This water stop plug 10 for a cable protective tube comprises a water stop plug, of which the whole is formed into a cone trapezoidal shape, and a linear foamed urethane material 23. In the water stop plug, a plug body 11, which has a flange part 12 on an end on the large-diameter section side, is constructed by forming an inserting hole 15 of prescribed size along its axial center and a recessed part 14 at a position nearer to the large-diameter section side along the circumferential direction. The plug body 11 is formed into semi-cone trapezoidals 11a, 11a by dividing into two portions along the axial center. A water-swelling resin material 18 and a rubber material 25 are attached to the recessed parts 14 of the respective semi-cone trapezoidals 11a, 11a, and splitting faces which interfaces both sides of the recessed parts 14. A long foamed urethane material 23 is attached along the rubber material 25 of the semi-cone trapezoidal 11a, 11a in construction work. A double- faced tape 24 is attached to the back of the long urethane material 23, and a cut 21 is formed in the center of the urethane material 23 along the longitudinal direction and is applied with a water-swelling resin material 26.</p> |
