PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel material for a wall panel, which is high in heat- retaining properties, cold-reserving properties, fire resistance, moisture resistance, deodorization and cleanliness, and capable of being inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: An admixture is formed by mixing a glue plant 26 into pumice 21, diatomaceous earth 22, charcoal 23, bamboo 24 and hemp 25. When the admixture is poured into the form (not shown) of the panel material 20, an unevenly formed steel mesh 30 is arranged in a central part in the thickness direction of the panel material 20.
