The method for creating 3D images on screen uses the combination of a geometric support defining the limits of the scene. This is combined with a series of 2D images providing texture to the grid, the images being applied by a computer tool. This allows a viewer to move around the 3D scene. The method for generating a three-dimensional scene on screen includes creating a three-dimensional geometric support which virtually delimits the 3D scene. A texture for this scene is generated from two-dimensional images of the scene. The geometric support and the texture are supplied to a computer tool for 3D representation. The texture of the scene is then applied on to the support using the computer tool. A portion of the 3D geometric support is then displayed on the screen, based on the orientation and position of the user relative to the part of the 3D support. Different textures are created for the scene using 2D images taken from a fixed median point with different focal distances.
