PURPOSE: A pipe connector structure is provided to improve heat radiating performance by allowing the core to have a uniform temperature distribution through the back pressure formed within a chamber of tank prior to the passage of cooling water. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger comprises a pair of upper and lower headers(30); a pair of upper and lower tanks(31) installed outside the upper and lower headers; a plurality of tubes(13) interposed between the upper and lower headers; fins(14) disposed between tubes; pipe connectors(40) installed to the upper tank and a pipe connector installed to the lower tank, respectively. The pipe connectors installed to the upper tank have back pressure units(42) arranged at the inlet sides of pipe connectors. The back pressure unit is formed by closing an outlet side end of the pipe connector, and forming a plurality of through holes at the outer periphery of the outlet side.
