PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting a temperature of a device for a handler is provided to measure a surface temperature of the device which is installed in the handler in order to test the device under a predetermined temperature range. CONSTITUTION: A lift operator(41) is fixed and installed at an upper portion of a heating/cooling plate of a handler. A lift shaft(42) is connected to the lift operator(41) and goes up and down. A lift block(43) is fixed and installed at a lower end of the lift shaft(42) and goes up and down together with the lift shaft(42). A temperature sensor(44) is installed at the lift block(43). The temperature sensor(44) senses a temperature. A lower end of the temperature sensor(44) is contacted with an upper surface of a device. A hook(44a) protrudes along a peripheral surface of the temperature sensor(44).
