A fitting for corrugated tubing has a body (10) with an internal conduit (12 ) therethrough and a centreline (14). The body (10) further includes a distal end (16) located on a first end of the body (10), the distal end (16) having a first outer diameter and a cross sectional thickness. A channel (20) is form ed through an interior surface (22) of the distal end (16), which channel (20) extends circumferentially around the interior surface (22) of the distal end (16). Thereby, a sealing material (23) may be inserted into the channel (20) , between the interior surface (22) of the distal end (16) and the internal conduit (12).
