PURPOSE: A projection system is provided to form a polarizing beam splitter film on an inner surface of a light tunnel, to uniformly gather light by the light tunnel as well as performing a polarizing function, so as to reduce the entire size as well as simply implementing an optic design. CONSTITUTION: A lamp(1) irradiates white lights. A cut filter(3) intercepts an unnecessary light of the white lights, and projects visible rays. A light tunnel(5) gathers lights projected through the cut filter(3), and induces the lights to be transmitted to a liquid crystal plate. A condensing lens(7) gathers the lights to increase brightness. The first polarizer(9) polarizes the lights passing through the condensing lens(7). A color system(10) separates the polarized lights into G/B/R lights, and re-synthesizes the lights. G/B/R liquid crystal elements(12a, 12b, 12c) receive the separated lights, and control the lights to be necessary for color image expressing. The second polarizer(13) polarizes the synthesized lights. A projection lens(15) extensively projects the lights passing through the second polarizer(13) on a screen.
