PURPOSE: An apparatus for breaking metal sludge is provided to perform smoothly and constantly grinding and compression work of a roller and to block impurities from entering the roller, and to allow a smooth supply and exhausting of grease and air. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a central rotating barrel, a multi-stage substrate, idle-rotational axis(4) and central axis(7) of roller(5) jointed together, The apparatus further has a bracket housing(8) secured to reverse-U shaped bracket(9) with projection(24) having axial holes(11,11'), top/bottom guiding bars(13,13') fixed by coupling pins(20,20'). Top/bottom covers(17,17') of the roller(5) are assembled with retainers(18,18') and V rings(19,19') and grease supplying nipples(22) passing through the cover(17). Grease drainage air-exhausting nipple(22') is connected to a bottom roller bearing(21) of the central axis(7). The apparatus has a hopper for supplying metal sludge equipped with a screw for controlling the sludge amount.
