<p>A method of preparing a beverage in a drinking vessel (2) which includes a first liquid and a second liquid of lower density than the first liquid is disclosed. The method comprises introducing the first liquid into the drinking vessel to a level below the top of the vessel and thereafter introducing the second liquid into the vessel via a flow restrictor member (10) formed with a plurality of holes of sufficiently small size and large number to permit the second liquid to flow at a sufficiently slow rate to form a distinct layer over the first liquid without mixing with the first liquid.</p> |
