PURPOSE: A vibration insulating mounting is provided to prevent vibration to a body of an automobile by manufacturing according to an accurate performance evaluation having various strength of each frequency. CONSTITUTION: A vibration insulating mounting(1) comprises a muffler(2), a silencer(3), and an exhaust manifold to prevent transmission of vibration to an automobile body. An ER fluid is provided inside of the vibration insulating mounting(1). The ER fluid has a changing strength property between liquid and solid state. The strength is changed by its material property. An engine driving frequency inputted by a control device by a signal of tachometer is used for adjusting strength value. The ER fluid outputs the adjusted strength value.
