An extrusion tool (1) for the production of hoses, pipes, films or other extruded components that have to be heated to between 150 and 300oC, comprises heat transfer elements (3). The latter are heated using heater bands (8) and heat transfer is by radiation over a defined air gap (10). The heat transfer elements consist of segments arranged over the circumference. The air gap is held constant by spacing elements (6) which are adjustable in height.
