<p>To correct a systematic error of the indicator, the corrector or adapter-corrector is interposed in the speedometer or odometer chain so that the corrector receives a signal (U) proportional to the rotational speed of a gearbox output shaft. The corrector (2) comprises a linearizing stage (24) for delivering, at constant load, a signal which is a linear function of the vehicle speed or of the distance travelled on the road, and a load correcting stage (2B) subtractor-mounted whereof one input is connected to the output of the linearizing stage (2A) and another input is connected to a polarising power supply (P). The invention is applicable to measuring equipment of vehicles for professional use.</p> |
