<p>An interferometer (200) for writing Bragg gratings comprising the means for splitting [ two acousto-optic modulators (202, 204)] a light beam (206) into two coherent beams (208, 226), and an optical circuit (214, 216, 218) for bringing the coherent beams to interference for writing the Bragg grating in a photosensitive material (224), wherein an angle between the coherent beams after the means for splitting is less than 10°. The first acousto-optic modulator (202) splits the incoming laser beam (206) and simultaneously shifts the frequency of the diffracted beam (208) by f1, and the second acousto-optic modulator (204) shifts the frequency of the other portion of the laser beam (226) by f2.</p> |
