Matrix plaster consists of a flexible covering layer and a water-insoluble pressure-sensitive adhesive matrix, free of mineral oils and tackifying resins and comprising (by weight.%): (a) 25-90% synthetic structuring polymer based on polyisobutylene; (b) 5-30% amorphous poly- alpha -olefin; (c) 0-60 wt. % insoluble (preferably hydrophilic) filler; and (d) 0.5-25% (A). An Independent claim is included for the production of the plaster by homogeneously mixing the components of the matrix in a melt in the absence of solvents, preferably with continuous or discontinuous processing of all components at less than 100 deg C.
