PURPOSE: A base frame for air conditioner is provided, in which protection member is arranged at the lower portion of the base frame, to thereby prevent damage of the lower portion of air conditioner during transportation. CONSTITUTION: A base frame comprises a base plate(30) coupled to the lower portion of an air conditioner; a fork unit insertion frame(40) coupled to the lower portions of both ends of the base plate, and which has holes(40a,40b) formed at the opposed side surfaces of the fork unit insertion frame so as to allow a pork unit of a forklift truck is inserted into the holes; and a protection member(50) protruded downward from the lower portion of the base plate, so as to prevent damage of the lower portion of air conditioner caused by being hit by the fork unit of the forklift truck. An auxiliary frame(45) for increasing coupling strength between the base plate and fork unit insertion frame is installed at both ends of the fork unit insertion frame.
